Sweden: Institutional Collaboration Networks

Below, are five chord diagrams. They all show institutional collaboration networks of the ’top 5’ institutes in Sweden, as defined by the most number of publications in the Sweden corpus. Each diagram was produced from the corresponding institute corpus as downloaded from the WoS dynamic database on 05/02/2021. To be included in the dataset an article has: a) at least 1 author address from the institute of interest, b) at least 1 author address another institute. The diagrams all display a top institute and the 15 institutes with which it most frequently collaborates.

Swedish University of Agricultural Sciences

The Swedish University of Agricultural Sciences (AS) corpus is 3714 publications. Of these publications, 3016 are collaborative (81%). International collaborations make up 63% of the total AS corpus; domestic collaborations make up 18%.

Lund University

The Lund University corpus is 1274 publications. Of these publications, 1073 are collaborative (84%). International collaborations make up 71% of the total Lund University corpus; domestic collaborations make up 14%.

Umea University

The Umea University corpus is 1101 publications. Of these publications, 934 are collaborative (85%). International collaborations make up 56% of the total Umea University corpus; domestic collaborations make up 29%.

Stockholm University

The Stockholm University corpus is 869 publications. Of these publications, 778 are collaborative (90%). International collaborations make up 75% of the total Stockholm University corpus; domestic collaborations make up 14%.

Royal Institute of Technology

The Royal Institute of Technology (RIT) corpus is 796 publications. Of these publications, 607 are collaborative (76%). International collaborations make up 48% of the total RIT corpus; domestic collaborations make up 28%.
